Court

Court today was a hearing about the validity of an arrest. A warrant to search a house was issued. A search of the house revealed evidence in a crime as well as three new crimes. Due to a possible biohazard the search was temporarily stopped and evidence secured at the station. The owner of the house comes wandering to the house. He is detained for questioning and the new crimes. There is meth in his pockets. His believes (and against the advise of his lawyer) that he was seized illegally. He believes he was just seized because of the search warrant, not the new crimes and involvement in crimes. His lawyer tries to beat a dead horse, but still lose. Motion denied, going to trial.
