Beginning
I spend the 20 minutes before my shift and the next 40 minutes after, clearing calls that are in holding. people who call 5-6 times, yelling a 911, unhappy with policy about transferring "routine" calls to a online reporting system.
It is almost always the same;" why isn't anyone responding, why do I have to call so many time, do I have to take things into my own hands."
-due lack of planning by commissioners and voters turning down levies to cover the cost of patrol, we have limited $ and officers, so we are doing what we can with what we have. i understand your frustration and i would hate to be told that if i was calling the police. but neither I or 911 can much about it. if you have questions you need to refer to the commissioners and the voters.
if I am lucky I get a laugh or a thank you
