Goat Rope

The pond's animal control, only handles dog calls and only works 8-12 and 1-5, Monday-Friday.
So when a sheep, cow and horse gets loose, we get the call.
That is why we now have dog catcher poles in the cars now. A 3' pole with a noose at the end, that allows you to slip the noose around the animals neck and tighten for easy leading of the animal.

Which is where I was yesterday. Walking around with a goat, trying to find its owner. Hoping a fellow officer doesn't drive by.
