Traffic

Traffic court is brief. The only matter is the girl, Maggie, who was driving her friend Tina's car.
The collision started when Maggie did not see the cars stopping in front of her and rear ended them. Both Tina and Maggie went to the hospital. Maggie's cell phone was found on the floor still in the text menu, with a text message sent a minute before the collision was reported. Maggie's license is still provisional and invalidated by Tina's age.
I follow them to the hospital. Maggie gets a big ticket.

Maggie and Tina call the next day.
"We switched seats, Tina was driving"
-you realize that you both wasted alot of time and lied?
"Yes"
they want me to get rid of the ticket.
-both of you write a letter explaining what you did and I will put it in the report. I would expect criminal charges.

The traffic judge listens and then yells at Maggie. Tina did not show up for her friend.
The judge delays ruling on the traffic violations until the criminal matter is resolved
