The world of Wiz
So I have been terrible busy the last 3 weeks and have no time to do anything, especially blog. Why you ask?
-one trip to Prineville to run physical
-one trip to Prineville to do interview
-one trip to Prineville to do final interview
-0ne trip to Deschutes County to do written test, physical, and 2 interviews
-one trip to Klamath Falls to do written.
As well as the prep for interviews, prep for physical, the traveling time, and taking the family. The weather was extremely nice, no rain, no snow, no ice, so it was a great time. I still have another weekend of interviews and testing in March, so the fun isn't over yet.
Why look for a job, when I have one already? Well, if you live in my county you know the ever looming budget cuts. The proposed lay-offs are about 10 positions (7 actual people), who knows if I am in that pool.
I have finally managed to get certification of my position, so the state will recognize me, which mean I could get another job in this same position. Sure it only took 18 months (3 months of which was spent waiting for someone to sign a page) And sure the director may declassify my position, so that the certification won't be needed (so they can work me more and pay me less). Sure the other union is considering inviting me join (I would make more money and be the first to be laid off? Does that mean I can goof off?) So, I have been a little busy.
Other minor notes:
-I beat up a VCR that may have been older than me - no one takes my deluxe edition of Aliens!
-Resident Evil 4 - probably the best game I played in a while
-when you send your wife valentines day flowers and the card reads "happy valentines day mother love carol" = ( no, that is not what I sent and no my name is not carol)
-I got the best valentine presents from my wife and mother in law
a 6 pack of Dick Danger Ale and a Deschute Brewery Growler!
