Garbage

A call comes in about a pile of garbage on the side of the road. I check out the garbage and it has paperwork belonging to Ed, mixed in with the clothes. I locate Ed after several attempts. - I found you property dumped the side of the road "I didn't dump it" -how about you have two days to pick it up or I take you to jail. "sounds good I will go make sure it gets taken care off" Two days later i check, its gone

Litter

I am sitting blacked out in one of my spots. I can do paperwork and still be in fairly good position. A car drives by and I observe the driver toss a can out the window. I am a little taken back in disbelieve and set out after the car. I stop the car. -do you know why I stopped you? "no idea". the driver looks away from me not making eye contact and keeping her body turned away from me. -did something come out of your car? "no" -so who threw the can out of the car? "no one threw anything out of the car. I don't know what your talking about" Then I smell the odor of alcohol coming from the car. After running the driver I ask her to step out of the car. -how much have you had to drink? "nothing and I want you test me!" She does the test and fails. She gets a ride to jail, with a small detour to pick up the empty beer car from the road.

Quote of night

Does this car belong to you? "no, I found it on the side of the road with the keys in it and figured why not take it for a spin"

Special Moment

I respond to an assault at a bar. Bartender vs Bartender. The offending bartender is arrested and handcuffed. That is when he loses it and starts to fight. It more of struggle than a fight, landing him on the ground and me on top. My Sgt and another officer scramble to me. The other officer puts a taser in his chest and Sgt. grabs ahold of my hand, yelling at the guy to give him his other hand. -Sgt that my hand "oh" and lets go. We load him into the car. Later I tell the Sgt it is a special day and I ask the if he wants to hold hands again he can just ask.

Old Friend

It has been a long time since posting. Work became unfriendly and cause a lot of unhappiness. It was easier not to update the blog.
