Daywalker

The switch in shift, from day to night has been refreshing.
I miss the action and speed of nights, but I am enjoying the change in scenery.
People are not all criminal and shitheads. People are friendly.
We will see how long it lasts.

Smile

AS i am responding to a welfare check on a 2 year old, I come to the intersection.
A small boy on a bike sees me, stops, puts the bike down and takes several steps away from me, staring.

-whats wrong?
"i"m not wearing my helmet and i don't want to go to jail"

I try not to smile and tell him the importance of helmets.

Bounty

A reward for find a mope with warrants, who brass had been lenient on and made them regret it. 1 case a beer delivered.

Not Scientist

I had to remind myself that most criminals are not rocket scientist.
One left a cell phone at the store where she tried to pass a fake $50 bill.
The second tried to make an escape after shop lifting by push starting her car.

Switch

The long absence is over.
A switch to days has changed things.
New hours have allowed me to be "normal" and keep to a better schedule.
