Waiting for my shift to start there is large envelope in my work box (a small cubby hole that messages can be put for me). I open it and I am greeted by my evaluation form....for 2008-2009. I can't even remember what I did that period. Satisfied with what is on there I sign and eagerly await 2009-2010.
As I was working out in front of my house, one the reserves drives up. "I wanted to say thanks. I am in background with an agency and I wanted to say thanks for letting me ride with you and making me do stuff" -I always told said "You are taking up valuable space my bag could be occupying, so I am going to make you do stuff" "that experience helped alot." -good luck
With my temporary re-assignment came with a flurry of subpoenas. The courts have caught up with their caseload and with it came summons. For April alone I had over 40, including traffic court. Only the traffic court actually happened.
While having too much time on my hand and my temporary assignment being slow, uneventful and an excerise in patience, I have sadly neglected the blog. Several times I had things to post about, but it seemed pointless and only remind me that I wasn't in patrol anymore. I briefly considered pulling the plug, having lost direction. But rather than wallowi, I decided to move ahead.
